The owner felt that the spaces in the building did not flow and were not suited to their lifestyle. We worked closely with them to offer solutions that would give them the home they wanted without the need for additional space and within a three month timeframe.

To improve light and space in the property we moved the kitchen from the back, where it was mostly in shadow, to the front of the house which sees much more direct sunlight. We opened out the entrance to the house into a vaulted hallway to create a brighter and more spacious feel. 

Upstairs we opened the roof and built a large dormer window allowing much more light in and dramatically increasing the size of the bedrooms.

Outside we transformed the garage into a glass fronted studio space, and updated front of the house with modern cladding and finishes to give it a brighter and more contemporary feel.

We delivered an impressive transformation to this property on time and in budget. By working closely with our client and their structural engineers we were able to create a living space that is in synergy with their lifestyle needs. A bigger, brighter and more beautiful home but without increasing it's footprint.
